| Frying Pan Anglers is located in Basalt, Colorado at the confluence of two Gold Medal trout rivers, the Frying Pan and the Roaring Fork. We have U.S. Forest Service permits to guide on these famous streams, as well as the Colorado River, Crystal River and many lesser known places. The upper Frying Pan basin has over thirty high country lakes, and all of our local watersheds are laced with spectacular alpine small streams. This is fishing country. We fish twelve months a year on some of the most diverse trout water in the country. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Rod Recommendations G 884/3, G 885/3, G 886/3: "These are the three most popular rods among my guides." G 883/3: "This is my favorite rod for fishing the Frying Pan River. It has enough power to turn over a large Green Drake and the
delicacy required to fish a #22 midge." -- Roy Palm
