Lees Ferry Anglers is the real deal. Every serious angler appreciates a hard core flyshop on a famous piece of trout water. Lees Ferry defines hard core. Wendy opens the shop at 5:30 am. Eleven guides fill their coffee mugs from a 2- gallon urn that sits on a woodburning stove. The shop is packed with customers from before dawn until after closing time at 8:00 pm. The finest fly fishing tackle lines the walls, and thousands of glow bugs, scuds and midges fill the fly boxes. Lees Ferry is a "vortex" fly shop. If you've never been to Lees Ferry, make your plans. It's an original, one of a kind operation. The shop also bears the distinction of having the largest dog in Arizona sleeping in the entryway (Oso).
