Zeke has fished extensively throughout the Florida Keys, Marquesas, Tortugas, and the Bahamas, but he prefers his home waters of Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound. He is an innovative fly tyer and fisherman who has created several unique flies that have become standards for the waters of Boca Grande. Zeke caught his first saltwater fish in Boca Grande when he was four years old, and has been fishing there ever since.

In the fall and winter Captain Zeke specializes in sight casting to Redfish and Snook. He has tremendous knowledge of the backcountry of Charlotte Harbor and adjacent Pine Island Sound, which offer some of Southwest Florida's finest flats fishing. Zeke spends the Spring and Summer leading customers to giant Tarpon that migrate to Boca Grande each year. These fish average 100 pounds and Zeke has mastered the techniques needed to do battle with the Silver King. He prefers the SES 9012/3 for giant Tarpon. "The SES rods cast equally well at short and long distances which is critical to a Tarpon fisherman. When fish are moving quickly you have to take advantage of each opportunity. The Eclipse feel incredibly light, but have the power to push big flies in big wind and crush a Tarpon's will."
