Captain Doug Kilpatrick is one of the most professional, courteous, and hard working guides in all of Florida. After graduating from college, Doug decided to pursue his life long dream as a saltwater captain.
He specializes in fly fishing the unique backcountry flats of the lower Keys and Marquesas. Doug has many years of experience on these waters, and knows them as well as anyone. The lower Keys, are a very demanding fishery. Some fisherman say this area presents the most challenging fly fishing in the world, and Doug provides his anglers great chances to catch a world class Permit, Bonefish or Tarpon.
Kilpatrick played a critical role in developing both the STS Saltwater series and our new Kevlar/Carbon push poles.
