Born and raised in south Florida, Captain Moret is a hometown guide with tremendous local knowledge. He has fished from Islamorada with his father and friends for his entire life, and has mastered the complex waterways from Miami to Key West. Andrew works the flats like a hungry cuda, using his experience to position himself strategically on every tide. No one fishes with greater intensity. When tarpon are no where to be found off of Islamorada, Andrew will fire up to the Everglades to look for redfish or snook.

Andrew loves fast action fly rods. The backcountry side of the Keys is a windy part of the world, but when you're out on the Atlantic side staked up for the big boys, the wind can shut down all but the strongest casters. Andrew throws the STS Saltwater Series for all species. These rods will blast tarpon flies into direct headwinds, and are still light enough to float a slider or crab to tailing fish in the backcountry.

For some of the best salt water flats fishing on earth, book Captain Moret year round. In order to choose your week, it will be necessary to book considerably in advance. Andrew recommends the summer and fall months as alternatives to the spring tarpon season. Bonefishing is at its best in these months, and there are still plenty of baby and adult tarpon in the area.
