This is our most popular winter steelhead rod. We redesigned this rod to make it easier to cast. The original ARC 1510/4 was extremely powerful, but did not flex deep enough to meet the preferences of most spey casters. The redesigned ARC 1510/4 does more work for the angler, and flexes deep enough to cast heavy sinking lines under the power of the average angler's spey casting stroke. The rod now works well in a wide range of fishing distances, but still has the ability to cast over 100 feet.
