ARC STEELHEAD & SALMON
ARC 959/4

Our most powerful ARC is the best choice for fishing serious sinking lines or throwing the largest pike flies. We recommend this rod over our saltwater style rods for sinking line salmon and steelhead anglers, because the extra length helps lift a sunk line, and initiate the new cast with a roll cast. The 9' 6" length is also more useful for line mending and steering the fly, and ARC 959/4 is our best shooting head rod. Big pike anglers prefer this rod over the ARC 958/4 simply because a 9-weight rod and line will carry a bigger, heavier fly.
