New for 2000
A dart-throwing dry fly rod for medium to small sized sized trout streams. SES 803/3 is almost weightless and forms the tightest casting loops
of any rod in the series. The three piece configuration makes it an ideal rod for packing into small streams or as a traveling dry fly rod.

| SES 803/3: This just might, over the next few years, replace the G 804 as my favorite hatch rod. Incredibly delicate but with enough power to handle large flies when necessary, you could probably get by with this beauty on any stream, large or small. I would have no hesitation fishing this rod anywhere as long as the wind isn't too brutal. Just like all of the Eclipse Series, it combines that wonderfully smooth action with a powerful butt, giving the rod (delicate though it may be) the ability to handle large, powerful fish with ease. To my way of thinking this is a real winner! | ![]() |
