Our largest Eclipse is designed for anglers in pursuit of large tarpon and the plethora of deep running bluewater species. For tuna and billfish specialists, we recommend the HP 8814/3 or HP 7815/3, but for light bluewater applications and all tarpon fishing, this rod is the workhorse. SES 9012/3 is more forgiving to cast than STS 9012/3, but offers extreme power for lifting fish from beneath the boat. SES 9012/3 is our most popular rod for the Boca Grande, Homosasa, and Clearwater fisheries in Florida, where the world's largest tarpon roam in the spring and summer.
