SES 907/3 is designed for Caribbean bonefish and inshore saltwater fishing. This is our best all around light saltwater fly rod, and the preference of many of our Florida Pros when the wind lays down. This rod has also a popular Northeast striper rod, particularly on calm days and for estuary fishing. SES 907/3 is more forgiving than STS 907/3 and doubles nicely as a bass and streamer rod.

| SES 907/3: We use the 9' 7-weight Eclipse for the lion's share of our shallow water redfishing. This rod generates plenty of line speed without being overly fast or "tippy." The progressive action makes the SES 907/3 very versatile: it will let you make a crisp, quiet presentation to a tailing fish in the early morning and get a weighted crab or slider in front of a cruiser later that afternoon. It's a beautiful rod that does many things well. | ![]() |
