This rod has a little more range than the F 552/3, and has become our favorite in the series. In fact, this is one of only two Scott rods that is owned and fished by every single member of our sales, marketing and rod design teams (the other is the G 883/3). Like the F 552/3, this rod is designed for extremely short casts. Amazingly, F 703/3 is also a terrific roll casting rod, despite its short length.

| F 703/3: When the cover is tight and one shot is all you get, bring this rod with you. The F 703/3 is one of the most accurate rods I have ever held in my hands. It is very sensitive and has great feel. Protection of light tippets and the ability to handle quite large fish make this rod so much fun to fish. | ![]() |
