Although your rod is covered by our Unconditional Lifetime Warranty against breakage, please visit our Proper Care and Maintenance page to ensure longer life and maximum performance on the water.

REPAIRS

Every Scott fly rod and blank is covered by Scott's Unconditional Lifetime Warranty. The Warranty extends to the original registered owner only, and the Scott warranty card or on-line registration must be filled out and mailed within thirty days of purchase.

Broken rods and blanks will be repaired or replaced at no charge, except for a $20.00 fee for 2nd day air return shipping (Shipping costs will vary for shipping outside of the USA). For blanks, Scott warranties the blank itself, but not the components and labor contributed by the custom rod builder.

Scott fly rods that are not covered by the Unconditional Lifetime Warranty are guaranteed for the life of the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship. Repairs caused by customer error or normal wear and tear will be repaired at reasonable cost plus the $20.00 return shipping fee.

In the event of breakage, our unique Flex Rating system allows us to choose replacement parts which perfectly match the originals. This means that your fly rod will feel the same through the years, regardless of whether you've had a section replaced. Many rod makers offer a lifetime warranty, but only Scott can promise this level of quality in repair service.

In the event that your Scott rod is broken or damaged, simply follow the instructions given on our printable repair form and we will repair or replace the rod at our discretion.
