Choose either this model or the SAS 906/5 over the two-piece SAS 906 if you do a lot of backpacking. This is an ideal rod for nymphs, streamers, and large dry flies such as stoneflies. SAS 906/3 is extremely light in weight, which helps when casting weighted flies all day or when fishing from a float tube. SAS 906/3 is also an excellent smallmouth rod.
