STS 903
STS 903 is a tremendous dry fly rod for those who prefer the extra light feel of a 3-weight but need the rod length and backbone to fish long leaders in the wind or work the bank from a driftboat. This rod feels light as a feather in the hand, and yet has enough power to fish a grasshopper with a bead head dropper. If you fish big rivers where it blows constantly, go with the STS 904 instead, but for rivers such as the Green and the San Juan, this is an ideal general purpose dry fly rod. STS 903 is also great from a float tube for either trout or panfish.
