STS 908/3

This is our favorite rod for bonefish and redfish that live in windy places. STS 908/3 is also a great rod for small and medium sized stripers, and has become very popular in the Northeast. The whole STS Saltwater Series is designed for windy conditions. STS 908/3 is a great rod for bigger freshwater fish and for many species in saltwater. I've caught browns, rainbows, big brook and record class lake trout (mackinaw), pike, salmon, and largemouth bass on it in freshwater, and striped bass, bluefish, false albacore, and more in the salt. Truly a fine all around rod, it casts both floating and all types of sinking lines well, is accurate at all distances, and is powerful too.
