This is a great all-around trout rod that balances light in the hand due to its shorter length. SVS 855 is an accurate caster that is equally capable with dry flies as with nymphs and split shot. We recommend the SVS 855 over the SVS 905 for those who fish small and medium sized trout streams. For bigger water or float tubing, the extra length of the SVS 905 helps achieve more distance on your casts.
